Dehradun. A Civil Military Liaison conference led by Chief Minister Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat held at Secretariat on Tuesday. The last civil military liaison conference was held in 2012. The CM Shri Trivendra Singh Rawat directed the officials to take this meeting annually. He said that state government would make all possible efforts to cooperate Army and all pending cases would be resolved promptly. The CM appealed the Army to cooperate in Rispana and Kosi River revival campaign.
Sub Area Commander Maj Gen J.S. Yadav said that Army was considering on an alternate arrangement for Uttarakhand Purv Sainik Kalyan Nigam Ltd’s office at Dehradun. This office is currently not being shifted elsewhere. During the meeting, it was decided that CSD Depot will be shifted to Transport Nagar.
16 issues related to land, two issues related to army welfare, two issues related to aviation, one issue related to security and an issue related to basic infrastructure were raised during the meeting. The CM took positive steps in most of the issues raised in the meeting. He directed the officials to take immediate action. In some issues, he directed the Chief Secretary to find out the solution by taking meetings with the Army officials.
